Ferguson Family Foundation helps Pony Bird raise $42,000 in the Annual Golf Tournament

The Ferguson Family Foundation and Pony Bird hosted the Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Monday, October 1 st, 2007 at the Pevely Farms Golf Club in Eureka. The tournament consisted of 34 teams/135 golfers. Sponsors and participants raised over $42,000 to support the 59 individuals residing at Pony Bird.
Bryan Waites won the longest drive award and Bruce Connor won closest to the pin. Prizes were also awarded to 1 st, 2 nd, & 3 rd place teams in Flights A, B, & C. and for special event winners. First place flight winners received new golf bags donated by Anheuser Busch.
The Ferguson Family Foundation established by Don & Ann Ferguson was designed to promote education in its broadest sense. The foundation has supported Pony Bird through golf tournaments, fundraisers, and grants helping raise over $215,000 since 2003.
Pony Bird, Inc. is a private, non-profit organization, which provides residential, recreational, educational, and adult day programming services to individuals who are non-ambulatory with profound to severe physical and mental disabilities.
