Pony Bird is a special place for special individuals. We provide 24-hour care for developmentally disabled, nonambulatory children and adults. These individuals are unable to meet their daily living needs without assistance. Pony Bird’s six residential homes are located in Mapaville and DeSoto, Missouri just 30 minutes south of St. Louis.

Pony Bird Mission
It is the mission of Pony Bird, Inc. to provide residential, respite, adult day programming and recreation/community integration to individuals of all ages who are non-ambulatory with profound to severe physical disabilities as well as profound to severe mental disabilities.
In providing these services, we will support the residents, their families and the community. We will do this by providing highly trained staff to deliver services with respect and dignity for human rights.

Pony Bird’s vision is to ensure that every individual who has a profound to severe mental and/or physical disability is able to receive care that ensures the maximum possible quality of life – regardless of age, location, race, or economic situation.
