The Third Annual Jim Woodrum Memorial Championship was a great success.  Mary LaPlant was the big winner of the evening, walking away with the keys to a 1991 Camaro Z28.  Pony Bird raised $4000 from the raffle that evening and was fortunate to have some of the local race car drivers contribute their winnings from the evening as well.

The Third Annual Jim Woodrum Memorial Championship will take place on  Saturday, August 14th, at the
 I-55 Raceway in Pevely, Missouri. For the second year in a row the Woodrum family has generously donated a car to be raffled off during the championship event. Proceeds from the raffle will go to benefit the individuals who reside at Pony Bird.

Bloomsdale Excavating Co, Inc. hosted their Seventh Annual Charity Golf Tournament, Wednesday, May 26th at Ste. Genevieve Golf Course in Ste. Genevieve.  Bloomsdale Excavating, tournament sponsors and participating golfers raised $28,895 to support  Pony Bird.  This brings the total raised to date to over $200,000.00!
