Cheryl Simons – Board Member
Cheryl Simons joined the Board of Directors in 1981.
She previously served as Vice President and President. She currently serves on the Development/Publicity/Planning Committee. As a parent of a child with profound disabilities, Cheryl has helped Pony Bird continue to remain a family-centered organization.
Cheryl is the Executive Assistant, Commercial Lending Division, Southwest Bank and is actively involved in the UFCW Women’s Network. Her family includes husband Ron, daughters Heather, Jennifer, and Carrie, and granddaughter Chelsea.
Cheryl Simon’s is particularly proud of “the dedication and support that our staff provides to the residents.” Her personal vision for Pony Bird:
“That we continue to provide the highest quality services in a loving, caring, home-like environment for the individuals with different abilities who reside there, as well as the individuals that Pony Bird serves in the surrounding community."
