Mrs. Simons joined the Board of Directors in 1981. She is the current Vice President and has served as President in the past. She currently serves on the development, publicity, and planning committee. Her contributions as a parent of a special needs child has helped Pony Bird in continuing to remain a family centered organization.
	Mrs. Simons is the Executive Assistant, Commercial Lending Division, Southwest Bank. Her family includes husband Ron, daughters Heather, Jennifer, and Carrie, and granddaughter Chelsea. Mrs. Simons’ vision for Pony Bird is “that we continue to provide the highest quality services in a loving, caring, home-like environment for the special needs individuals living at Pony Bird and to those individuals that Pony Bird serves in the surrounding community."
