Mr. Hovis became a board member at Pony Bird in 2006. Since 1984, Mr. Hovis has been an independent insurance agent and broker and serves as President of Dennis C. Hovis & Associates, Inc. in De Soto, Missouri. He is a registered representative with Walnut Street Securities, Inc., selling mutual funds with a series 6 and 63 license.
	Dennis C. Hovis has a large involvement with the community. He is a member of the De Soto Kiwanis Club and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Eagle Bank and Trust. Mr. Hovis is also part of the De Soto Chamber of Commerce Board, Jefferson County Economic Development Corporation Board, De Soto Industrial Authority Board, and the De Soto Community Foundation Board. Mr. Hovis served on the De Soto City Council from 1981 to 1987 and as mayor of De Soto, Missouri, in 1983-84 and 1986-87. Mr. Hovis’ vision for Pony Bird is “Doing all we can to serve the needs of our residents.”
