Mrs.  Dallas has served as the Executive Director of Pony Bird for the last twenty five years.  She began her career at Pony Bird as a nursing consultant for one year and then as nursing supervisor for two years before becoming the Executive Director.  She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from St. Louis University and a Master of Arts in Health System Management from Webster University.
	Under her guidance Mrs. Dallas has helped Pony Bird grow from supporting ten children in one home to currently supporting 59 children and adults in six homes, four in Mapaville, MO and two in DeSoto, MO.  Her medical background and her tenacity to advocate for individuals with severe to profound disabilities has allowed Pony Bird to continue to improve and establish a reputation of being an excellent, top rate organization. Mrs. Dallas is extremely active in the community and has made representing Pony Bird a top priority. She is a member of the Festus/Crystal City Kiwanis, Twin City Chamber of Commerce, American Association Mental Retardation, and Missouri Association Residential Care Providers, and Jefferson County Growth and Development Association. In 2003 she, along with Pony Bird, received the KJFF-KTJJ 110% Award. Over the years she has volunteered in the community for numerous causes and events. She is a member of the Selma Church.
