Since 1977, Pony Bird, Inc. has provided 24-hour total care for severely disabled children and adults. Pony Bird was developed to be a special place for individuals with severe to profound physical and mental disabilities. The atmosphere that Pony Bird provides is what makes it such a special place. Pony Bird is filled with love, laughter, and compassion just as any other home should be.

In 1977, Pony Bird was home to ten children. As those children grew to be adults and their needs expanded, Pony Bird grew as well. Today Pony Bird is home to 59 children and adults with severe to profound physical and mental disabilities. Pony Bird is also a safe haven for members of our community who are severely disabled.
